米国科学振興協会（American Association for the Advancement of Science：AAAS）は2014年11月25日、「2014年AAASフェロー（2014 AAAS Fellows）」として日本人3名を含む401人を選出したことを発表した。新たに選出されたフェローには、2015年2月14日にカリフォルニア州サンノゼにて開催されるAAASフェロー・フォーラムにおいて、認定証とピンが贈呈される。今回選出されたフェローの部門別内訳は、以下の通りである。
